Bartolo Angelo Ciervo

Bartolo Angelo Ciervo - known to many as "The Bartman" and "Big Daddy" was born on April 8th 1960. After 10 long years of battling Renal Failure, he went to be with the Lord on Thursday August 30th, 2012.

Bart graduated from Arroyo Grande High School and spent several years as a resident of Palm Desert. But he lived most of his adult life right here on the streets of Bakersfield. Bart was a Chef by trade and worked at several area Restaurants - such as KC Steak House, Spencers, and Tony Romas. Bart was the proud father of 6 children, 4 of which, he raised on his own.

All though his life was cut short - he lived it to the fullest.... He was always the life of every party and will be missed by many. Bart was greeted at the gates of heaven by; his dog Whoopie, father Pat Ciervo, brother Larry Martin, Uncle Charles Music, grand parents; Rachel and Jack Black, niece Patricia Martin and cousin Ronnie Music.

Bart leaves behind his beautiful children. His daughters; Mysti McElroy & husband Jesse McElroy, Summer Ciervo & spouse Brooklyn Howell, step daughter Shiree Alveraz. And his 3 sons; Chyenne Ciervo, Skylar Ciervo and Angelo Ciervo. His loving mother Patsy Bryan. Aunt Rachel Music, brothers; Ronnie Martin, Mike Martin & wife Renee, John Martin & wife Tinnee. Grand children; Rebecca, Brandon and Jesse McElroy, Eli Ciervo and Courtney and Jordan Millspaugh. Niece Kyanna Martin-Garrett and spouse Shannon Garrett & nephew Joe martin. He also leaves behind great nieces, nephews and several cousins.

Watch over us Big Daddy…. Know that we think of you every day and that you will never be forgotten.... And until we meet in the forever after, know we’ll never dance with another the way we danced with you....
