Bobby Joe Flowers

February 3, 1933 — June 13, 2015

Bobby "Bob" Joe Flowers born in New Mexico on 02/03/1933 went to be with the Lord on 06/13/2015. He is survived by his wife Ruth Flowers, Brother Walker, daughter Sonjia, son Gary, grandchildren: Travis, Nicole, Jason, Catherine, Jammie and 11 great-grandchildren.

He worked for the County of Kern in the Roads and Bridges Dept, along with countless other jobs. His favorite job was serving the Lord as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher. He was a proud member of the American Legion as a Veteran.

He was a very dedicated Christian, his kindness, generosity, values for his family and friends saw no bounds. He will be deeply missed by all.

Viewing will be held at Bakersfield National Cemetery on Thursday June 18, 2015, 6pm. Funeral Services will be Friday June 19, 2015 9:15am at Bakersfield National Cemetary. Memorial service following at Trinity Life Chapel at 5721 Norris Rd., 11am.
