Carl Doil Mc Duffey

Carl McDuffey July 13, 1923 - June 9, 2012 Carl was born on in Oklahoma, moved to Bakersfield at the age of 3 and eventually became a cotton farmer. He was in the Merchant Marines from 1944-1945. He was a member of the Teamsters Union while driving truck for 20+ yrs. Upon his retirement he bought a drive-in in Lamont that he named "Duffey's Delight. He was a member of the Eagles Camper Club and enjoyed traveling the US in his motorhome. Carl is survived by his wife Marty, sons Larry McDuffey, Cary McDuffey, Steven McDuffey and Mike Baker and daughters Vicki Perry and Patty Tyning. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Friday 6/15 at So. Kern Cemetery in Arvin.
