Connor James Marsh, precious son of Brian James and Miralda Guzman Marsh and brother to Keira and Taylor, completed his earthly test on Tuesday, November 11th. He was 4 1/2 years old. One day Connor had a cough and a fever and the next day we lost him to pneumonia. Connor found sheer joy in the smallest of things, like running in circles on the lawn while looking Heavenward. He was a child full to the brim with joy who always had a smile on his face but rarely spoke. We used to think we needed to "fix" him by insisting he talk more. Little did we know he needed no fixing, he was perfect already, and maybe just a little too close to his Father in Heaven and the memories of his Heavenly home, and that was why he wasn't to share too much with us. While we are certain that he is fine, and we have a sure knowledge that because of his parents' eternal choices we will all be together again, our hearts carry an ache that is utterly indescribable.
Connor leaves behind his immediate family, his grandparents in Bakersfield as well as his Abuela in Guatemala. He also leaves dozens of aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as a hole in our hearts. Love has always been spoken here in our home. We have no regrets. May you all do the same with your family members.
