Diane Elizabeth Chapman

January 1, 1949 – September 10, 2023

On September 10th, our beautiful mother, wife, and grandmother, Diane Elizabeth Chapman, passed away peacefully at her home with her husband, Martin by her side.

Diane had courageously battled the disease P.S.P. For 6 years she fought this vicious disease illness with the courage of a true warrior. Her smile, that could always light us a room, never faded, even as her disease progressed. She was an inspiration to those around her as she always saw the good in each day.

Diane married the love of her life, Martin F. Chapman. For 53 years the two were never apart. During their marriage they welcomed two children, son, Bryan, and daughter, Christie.

Diane had many jobs she liked but St. Francis school always held a special place, and she loved her friends at San Joaquin Hospital too. She was a true friend to all.

Diane traveled with Martin and with his job to exotic places, but really loved her time spent with her children at the beach and the mountains. These times were made even better when her grandchildren were born. They were the apple of her eye and made her world turn. She loved family.

Diane is survived by her husband, Martin, son Bryan and wife Christie, daughter Christie and husband Sam Lingle, grandchildren Chapman and Chloe Lingle and Morganne and Mason Chapman.

Diane will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at later date.
