Evelyn Storey

Evelyn (momma) was a woman that truly loved her children. She raised all four of us without a man's help after her husband died in 1961. She was a hard worker and taught us all to work hard too.

She loved God and was a member of the Bakersfield Central Seventh-day Adventist church for over 50 years.

The last few years were very hard for her. After COVID hit she could no longer take her walks and witness to people she met. She lost the younger of her two sons. And slowly lost her independence. Many times she would say "I'm tired" tired of how cruel people are to each other,  tired of all the hate, tired of sitting around. Just plain tired.

Rest now sweet momma, I will see you again when Jesus returns. I love you, God bless and bye-bye for now.
