Frank Alton Jonas, 80 passed on February 13, 2016 Born in Bakersfield on October 10, 1935 to Lloyd and Jeanette Jonas, the 3rd of 4 children Frank is survived by his wife Antoinette, his 5 children, Karen (Les) Jones, Prudence (Steve) Huff, Ron (Debbie) Jonas, Steve Meyers, Scott Meyers, 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, his sister Nancy (Mike) Ford, and nieces and nephews Frank loved playing softball and golf, and oil painting and his faithful dog Buddy.
Thank you to all of Frank's doctors over the last 5 years Thank you to the nurses, Lvn's, aides, Chaplin, social workers and volunteers and staff at Optimal Hospice Care A memorial service will be held at 2 pm February 19th at Kern River Family Mortuary, 1900 N Chester Ave Bakersfield,Ca A Private Burial will Be held at Bakersfield National Cemetery for Frank's service to our country .
