Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Hilda R. Escatell died at age 81 on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at home with family in Lolo, Montana. She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Santiago Escatell Jr. and is survived by her sons Ruben Escatell and wife Kim, Gabriel Escatell and wife Beatrice; daughters Isabel Fisher and husband Gary, Hilda Jarrell and husband Terry; 6 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was a devoted and loving wife to her veteran husband who is buried at the Bakersfield National Cemetery in Bakersfield, California.

A Viewing with a rosary, followed by a Mass of Burial, will be held in Bakersfield, California on Tuesday, September 20 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church located at 1515 Baker Street. Afterward, her burial will follow at the Bakersfield National Cemetery.
