Joe was born in Wichita Falls, Tx to Viola McCaskill. He was one of ten children. Joe passed away in Bakersfield, CA at 4:35pm on Thursday, November 15, 2012 after a battle with lung cancer. He is joining his mother and two brothers, Sid and Don in heaven. He leaves behind his siblings, Vicky, Judy, Gina, John, Tim, Leonard, and Archie.
Joe started a family at the age of 21 and had three healthy boys Phillip, Richard and James. He later had two daughters Heather and Jolene. He also raised five stepchildren Allen, Judy, Jeff, KC and Melinda.
He moved all over the country and primarily worked as an operator in the oil fields. He had good work ethic and always provided for his family.
Joe loved his family and visiting with his grandchildren. He had an ornery sense of humor and loved to tease his family. He loved BBQs and playing horseshoes with his sons. He always wore his cowboy boots even if they were soaking wet. He loved being outdoors and watching and interacting with animals. Papa Joe will be remembered as a funny and loving man.

Graveside Service is scheduled for 2:00 PM ~ Friday November 23, 2012 at Greenlawn Memorial Park / 3700 River Blvd.
