Judy Barnes

Judy Barnes was born in Bakersfield, CA on September 11, 1941, and entered Heaven's gates on December 23, 2016.

Judy was a devoted, loving wife and mother. She was very proud of her family and was excited to become "Grammy" to her 11 grandchildren. Judy loved holidays and family get-togethers; any chance to spend time with her family was important to her.

Judy had an unwavering faith in God. Over the years, she had become very involved with Valley Bible Fellowship; from cooking for funerals to cooking meals for everyone on the church mission trip, she was truly one of a kind. Judy was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. To all who knew Judy, she was the most loving, generous woman that had a laugh that would light up any room. Judy was a one of a kind woman and will be missed by many.

Judy left behind her loving husband of 46 years Kenneth Barnes, her twin brother James Justice, children Casey Reed, Daniel Reed, Jennifer Brock and Michael Reed; grandchildren Casey, Lacey, Jill, Jackie, Kevin, Jason, Tyler Paige, Tara, Cyncyrie, and Tristan; 3 great-grandchildren Damion, Sierra and Ayden.

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 29th at 11:00 am at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
