Karen Sproul

Karen Louise Sproul 08/07/1942 – 01/23/2015

Karen Louise Sproul of Bakersfield, CA died of complications related to a long illness, on January 23, 2015. She was surrounded by her loving family as she peacefully passed into the next world. She is survived by her three children; Daughter, Carrin Holsonbake of Bakersfield, and husband Blaine.
Daughter, Candace McWhorter of Clovis, CA and husband Michael and Son, Christian Vineyard, of Bakersfield . She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Max B. Stubbs, and Rosalie Stubbs. Also preceding her in death is her eternal companion, Dean Sproul and brother, Robert Stubbs.

Karen was a longtime and faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had served in many church capacities. She will be remembered for her never ending compassionate service to others and her unfailing positive attitude, even in the face of her often painful condition. Although she will be missed by those she left behind, we are comforted in the knowledge she is surrounded by her loved ones just beyond the veil.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter – Day Saints; 5600 Panorama Drive Bakersfield, Ca
