LEONARD CANO
(October 11,1963- March 04,2016)
Leonard passed away unexpectedly March 04,2016. He was born in Bakersfield CA , October 11,1963 to Ricardo and Maria Cano. In 1988, he met the love of his life while working a job at Memorial Hospital. He and Ida were married in 1991. Leonard had his own business(Cano Plumbing) for quite some time. He continued to be self-employed until his time of death. Leonard's greatest joy was to fix things. This man never left a challenge unmet. It didn't matter how helpless or hopeless it looked, Leonard would take the time(like a Pitbull) and not let go until it was fixed. He had a huge personality and he was not selfish with his knowledge. It was very important to him to share what he knew. He had the greatest love for his wife Ida, and their 4 children; Brian, Eric, Alex and his favorite Kellie. He was the ultimate family man. According to him, he was the funniest man around that told the best jokes.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings; Clara Martinez and Fernando Cano. He is survived by his wife and children, and 9 siblings:
Connie Cano, Alberto Cano (and wife), Ernesto Cano, Tirsa Chavez, David Cano, Lupe Gonzalez (Pete Gonzalez), Irma Contreras (Fred Contreras), Richard Cano (Mary Cano) and Joe Cano (and wife)
He has also left behind a Brother-in-law Roel Alaniz (Rose Alaniz) Sister-in-law, Susie Miranda, Mother and Father-in-law, Roel and Ginny Alaniz, as well as extended family.
