Melissa Ann Wynes- Chambers

Melissa Ann Wynes-Chambers, age 42 passed away peacefully on Saturday August 17, 2019. She was born August 3, 1977 in Moline, Illinois. She worked 17 years for Dignity Health, where she started out in the laundry room at the age of 18, working her way up to being in the H.R. department. Melissa had an uncanny ability to reach people with her beautiful smile and laugh. Melissa truly lived life to the fullest. She loved watching her wife play softball, as well as going on adventures with her children while watching them grow to be adults. Her happy place was at the beach with her wife. She also loved going dancing with her best friend Aprile.

She is preceded in death by her mother Joe-Ann Valdez and step father Joe Valdez. She is survived by her wife Shannon Wynes-Chambers, Daughter Bethani Gaze, son Lukas Gaze, father David Wynes, stepmom Jay Addington, mother-in-law Linda Chambers, brother David Wynes, sister-in-law Krista Wynes, brother-in-law Kurt Chambers, stepsister Sarah Tweedy, nieces, nephews, aunts, an uncle and many friends.

Services will be held Wednesday August 28, 2019 at 10:30am location Mercy Truxtun in the Clerou Lecture Hall. 2215 Truxtun ave.
