Robert Dochterman

Robert passed away after a long battle with COPD (Emphysema), which left him unable to do the things he loved to do, like Bowling, Family Poker Night and Baseball Games.

He is no longer in pain and is peacefully with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Robert will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Darlene – married for 59 years, who was her soul mate. He was blessed with 5 children, 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for 6:pm Thursday June 12, 2014 at Coronado Baptist Church 516 Norris Road – Oildale, CA.

GOD’s GARDEN

God looked around the garden
and found an empty space.

He looked down upon the earth
and saw your tired face.

He put his arms around you
and lifted you to rest.

God’s Garden must be beautiful
for He only takes the best.

He knew that you were in pain.

He knew that you would never
be well on earth again.

He saw the roads were getting
rough and hills were hard to climb.

So He closed your weary eyelids
and whispered, “Peace be thine.”
