Robert sawyer

March 26, 1959 — December 10, 2015
Robert Sawyer, 56 passed away December 10, 2015 losing his 4 month battle with Lou Gehrig's disease. Robert thoroughly enjoyed working at the Kern County Building Inspection Department for the past 27 years. His favorite hobbies included construction projects around the house, coaching his daughters sports teams and officiating basketball. A devout church goer, he was involved in several church committees and bible study groups. He is preceded in death by his mother Myra, his father Vernon and his brother Dennis. He is survived by his wife Mary Jo, brothers Mark, Gary and Tom, daughters Elizabeth, Katelynn and Myranda, grandchildren Andrew, Gracie, Natalie and Penelope, sons-in-law Bryce and Joe, and several nieces and nephews as well as many loving friends. Services will be held Tuesday December 15, 2015 at 10am at Trinity Anglican Church which meets at St. Johns Lutheran Church 4500 Buena Vista Road, 93311In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the ALS Golden West Chapter or the Trinity Anglican Building fund 5100 California Avenue Suite 108, 93309
