Rudolph (Rudy) Aldus Kennedy 

Rudy was born on February 2nd, 1965, to Eugene and Nakota Kennedy. Rudy was the youngest of 7 children. Rudy passed away on the evening of July 24th, 2024, in Bakersfield, California, with his sister Gail Browning and favorite cousin Sherri Barber by his side. 

 Everyone who knew Rudy knew he was a kind, caring, and loving individual. Rudy loved animals and reptiles more than he loved people. If you visited Rudy in the past few years, you met his beloved dog Johnny and cat Ricky. Rudy was Johnny and Ricky’s human therapy person. Rudy spent his life working for many years in various different jobs. Rudy was someone you could always count on for just about anything. He helped raise his sister’s kids, and he would wake up early and make them pancakes and oatmeal. Rudy went on to have two children, Saryn Kennedy and Shakota Kennedy, whom he loved dearly, probably more than they knew. He was known to ALL kids as Uncle Rudy. He was well liked by children and animals. In his later years, Rudy spent many days helping care for his two great nephews, Anthony and Landon. The boys thought Uncle Rudy hung the moon. 

 Proceeded in death by his Father Eugene in 2002, Mother Nakota in 2014, Brothers James (Casey) Johnson, John Johnson, and Robert Johnson. He is survived by Brothers Bill Johnson of Iowa, Edward Kennedy of Arizona, Sister Gail (husband Paul) Browning of California, Daughter Saryn Kennedy, Son Shakota Kennedy, 6 grandchildren, Favorite Niece Jessica Brannigan, many other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and two great Nephews.
