Tracy Lovan

Tracy was born in Ness, Kansas to parents Richard Lovan & Shirley Holder. He graduated from High School in 1973, shortly after graduation he enlisted into the U.S. Army.

Once his time of service was finished he started attending college, studying for solar engineering before solar was even popular. Unfortunately his G.I. bill ran out and was never able to complete his schooling. So he turned to his love of the trade of a Cobbler (leather making) in Westminster, CA. He enjoyed life in Southern California, then Utah, and finally made a residence here in Bakersfield, CA where he raised his family and finally passed away a little too soon.

Tracy is survived by his father Richard, mother Shirley, and baby brother Dion. His loving wife Lorrie, 5 children Damien, Shannon, Danny, Jesse & Blaine. He was an outstanding Grandpa to 13 grandkids and 1 great grandchild. Many other countless friends and loved one's will also miss his presence. A man who was close to the Lord, and is no doubtably watching from above smiling upon all of them.

As he will be dearly missed and greatly remembered. The memories shared will never be forgotten.

A Funeral Service is scheduled for 2:00pm Tuesday August 19, 2014 at Valley Baptist Church - 4800 Fruitvale Avenue Bakersfield California. Officiating will be Pastor Matt Weir. Pallbearers are; Danny Lovan, Jesse Lovan, Blaine Lovan, Braydon Aaron, Noah Lovan, Anthony Swope. Honorary Pallbears; Ace and Jack Warren.
