Travis L. McNeill

Travis Llewellyn McNeill of Bakersfield passed away at his home after a short illness with family by his side on April 8, 2023, he was 78 years old. He was born on June 30, 1944 in Bakersfield Ca, to Lloyd and Eleanor (Beth) McNeill.  He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Farrell and sister Kay, along with his wife of 45 years Ann who passed away in 2012. 

He is survived by his four daughters Tammy, Janet (Doug), Shelley (Keith) and Kim (Craig) and his five grandkids, Nick, Kaitlyn, Andrew, Jordan and Cody along with six great grandkids, Taylor Ann, Aly, Hudson, Ezra, Caleb and Caden.  He is also survived by his brothers and sisters Robert (Nadia), Kenny (Ange), Gerald, Sheila (Del), Barbara (Sean) and several nieces and nephews. Travis’ favorite pastimes were spending time with family, watching the grandkids play sports, traveling with his best friends Sue & Jerry and working on anything outside.  Until his illness our dad enjoyed a cup of coffee, a book early in the morning, Sunday breakfast with the whole McNeill clan and Friday visits from the great grandkids.    

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 19^th at 2:00 p.m. at Bakersfield National Cemetery  36338 E. Bear Mountain Blvd., Arvin, Ca. 

After the service the family will be gathering at the home of Janet and Doug Burt for all to celebrate our dad.  All are invited to attend both.
