Born in Sioux City, Iowa. to Gerald and Roberta Watson.
Moved to Bakersfield, Ca in 1961. Attended High School at Highland High School.
She was the energizer bunny of the family, always full of life and energy and always on
the move doing projects. She loved growing things and was very proud of her yard.
She was always there for family and friends whenever they needed a helping hand!
And boy did she love her Bingo!
She married the Love of her Life Gary Stevenson, August 13th 2000 in Bakersfield, CA.
Valerie Is survived by Gary Stevenson, her loving husband, alongside her parents
Gerald and Roberta Watson, Sister Teresa Johnson, Her children Russell Brown, Jason
Brown, Bobby Brown, Stephanie Rodriguez and youngest Myrikal Stevenson. Her
beloved Grandchildren Shiann Brown, Russell Brown Jr. Ryatt Brown, Amy Dodson,
Kyler Brown, Zach Brown, Zoe Brown, and Noah Parrott. Beloved Great Grandchildren
Ryland Brown and Landon Dodson. Of course by her side stands her Best Friend of 42
Years Tamara Rieger.
